The Conquer Panic Program is designed to help you understand the nature of panic and build the skills you need to work through each phase of a panic attack.
Our 3 Phase Program
Fine-tuned over more than 20 years of working with clients in the mental health field, we’ve built our Conquer Panic Program as a simple 3 phase program. Each phase of the program represents a major part of the panic cycle and provides tools and strategies to help you find peace from your panic.
The tools we teach are simple, and they’re designed to work for real people in real life situations. That means you’ll always know what stage you’re at and can practise working through your panic so you can get back to living your life.

Phase 1
REST & RESET
The “before” phase of a panic attack is called REST & RESET.
The key element here is developing strategies that help you rest your nervous system and keep it in balance. It’s not all about relaxation and meditation either, although those techniques can be very important too.Phase 1 strategies focus on improving your healthy coping skills so you can start reducing the likelihood of a panic attack. Practising these skills is a key part of Phase 1, so you’ll know how to work through panic attacks if they do occur. It’s common for people to have their own stress management skills and systems, but we can teach you to apply them in more effective and productive ways.
Phase 2
RIDING THE WAVE
The “during” phase of a panic attack is called RIDING THE WAVE.
Phase 2 introduces a 4-step process that focuses on control strategies you can use to extinguish the terror caused by a panic attack. These strategies are kept simple. Your brain doesn’t have much capacity to think when you’re in the middle of a panic attack, so simple strategies work best.
RIDING THE WAVE has no complex breathing techniques or thinking tactics that assume your panic attacks take place in isolated environments. Instead, these strategies are intended to be used in real life situations, even when you’re feeling overwhelmed.

Phase 3
PUT DOWN THE HAMMER
The “after” phase of a panic attack is called PUT DOWN THE HAMMER.
The skills for Phase 3 help you manage the aftermath of a panic attack to avoid making things worse. People often undo the good work of Phases 1 and 2 because of an unhelpful mindset or actions that encourages the brain to keep the panic cycle going. Phase 3 focuses on helping you recognise the thoughts and actions that are stopping you from resolving your cycle.
Phase 3 also helps you work on getting back to your life and feeling confident about meeting the challenges you’re facing. Even when your panic feels insurmountable, Phase 3 can help you troubleshoot the personal roadblocks that are preventing you from reaching your goals.
